ENTRIES FOR STAKES FORESHADOW FALL RACING SEASON OF SURPASSING BRILLIANCY IN KENTUCKY Cincinnati 0 August 1C General Manager John Hachmeister of the Latonia Jockey Club is highly elated over the manner In which the four states that are to serve as the particular racing features of the Latonia fall meeting October 20 to November S have filled Entries for these events closed last week and tabulation of the nominations has just been completed The total of the entries is 214 representing an average of 53 as compared with 39 in 1912 While the numerical strength of the list Is pleasing to Mr Hachmeister it Is from the quality of the nominations that he derives the greatest satisfaction The cream of the racing thorough ¬ breds of America both young and old have been named for the various events and it really looks as if this falls racing in Kentucky will set a new standard for brilliancy and high class of the sport Recent meetings in Kentucky admittedly have little to be desired but it seems safe to predict in the light of the material that will foe available this fall that all records will he surpassed ixith here and at Louisville LouisvilleFor For the Latonia Autumn
