HAVRE DE GRACE MEETING ENDS. Big Crowd Comes Out on Getaway Day at Maryland Course Another Stake for Tranid. Baltimore, Mil., September 30. This was getaway day at Havre de Grace, and, although the weather at times was cloudy, a big crowd turned out. Well-backed horses showed the way to the finishing line, flic Lrdenholm Handicap, for two-year-olds, was the big event of the day and six contested it. Tranid opened favorite, but closed second choice to Gainer, which was plunged on at the last moment. Gainer was outrun all the way, while Tranid led throughout and, after a tussle with Addie M. through the stretch, won by a length and a half. This was the second stake victory for Tranid at Havre de Grace.
