MONSTONE began slowly and had to go wide, hut closed a gap and, finishing fast, may have lieen host. IJOLALA ran gamely, but tired in the stretch. ADAIIl showed the most speed for the first half and set the pace fast, but tired. HOLTON ran a good race. WATERMELON seemed unable to stride freely in the early running, but came fast in the stretch. PENALTY ran fairly well. SAUIE JOUETT closed a big gap. IUA LAVINIA tired after running in closest pursuit to the stretch.
