BERMUDIAN took kindly to the going and, after having followed the leaders closely to the last eighth, drew out with a rush under sharp urging and won easing up. SIR HARRY showed much speed and ran into the lead on the stretch turn, but tired when challenged. MANSON ran well and was gaining at the end. BIG SPIRIT closed a good gap in the last quarter. BAYIIEAD ran a good race from a poor beginning. ARCHERY quit after set ting the early pace. Scratched 12109 First Degree, 105; 12419 Laird of Langden, 103. JUST Y. moved up steadily and resolutely from a slow beginning and, passing BRACKTOWN BELLE iu the last eighth after a sharp drive, won going away. BRACKTOWN BELLE raced FRANCIS Into defeat before-going a half mile, hut tired in the" stretch drive. ROBERT KAY ran well and finished gamely. HO RTENSE closed a big gap. KIVA was well up all the way and tired only in tho last sixteenth. LA MODE tired in the stretch after running a good half mile. The others were always outpaced. CASH ON DELIVERY had to be hard urged all the way and, standing the final drive gamely, wore LUTHER down in the last sixteenth and won drawing clear. LUTHER showed high speed and, setting the pace to the last eighth, cniy tired in the last seventy yards. jfBT RED trailed distantlv to the stretch, where lie closed a big gap with a rush. HARRY LAUDER ran gamely, but tired. WEYANOKE ran well to the stretch. L. II. ADAIR ran poorly and can do much better. BEULAH S. ran well throughout, but was tiring at the end. BROOKFIELD and COPPERTOWN alternated in pacemaking and raced each other into exhaustion. DYNAMITE and CRACKER BOX were never prominent. CURLICUE showed the most early speed and set the pace for over a mile, but tired in the last eighth. DR. WALDO BRIGGS was fairly well up all the way, hut tired in the stretch drive.
