NOTES OF THE TURF. Quite a flutter of excitement, says the Loudon Express, was caused iu the Birdcage at Newmarket on Cambridgeshire day by the nppearance therein of Her Majesty, escorted around by Mr. Leopold dand Rothschild and seemingly much interested in her experience. The queen inspected Lorenzo. Light Brigade and Santair in their ltoxes, and William Jarvls, the veteran trainer of the last named horse, had the honor of being presented to Her Majesty.
