JUDGMENT AGAINST BRIGHTON TRACK. New York, December S. A judgment for 1S, 520.4S, taken by default, has just been filed in the county clerks otlico against the Brighton Beach Racing Association and William A. Engeinau. The judgment creditor is the Mechanics Bank of Brooklyn. The suit was for recovery of the amount of three notes, drawn by the Brighton Beach Racing Association In favor of the bank and Indorsed by linge-man. The notes were for ,000, 5,000 and 1913.sh,000. George M. Chauncey, the president of the bank, makes an affidavit, in which he says that the collateral given for the notes by Engeinan was a 5,000 mortgage and 1,000 shares of the stock of the association. This latter collateral Is declared to be worthless. Judgment was thereupon taken by default.
