NEW STEEPLECHASE CUP DONATED. L. Stewart Wing Memorial Cup to Be Added to Piping Rock Racing, New York. Jan. 5. — The Piping Rock Racing Association will have a new steeplechase- added to its stake list this spring to be known as the L. Stewart Wing Memorial Cup. It is the gift of two sons of the late L. Stewart Wing and is given to pe-rpetuate the memory of their father, who was a stceplochasing enthusiast. The conditions call for a two mile steeplechase with §2.000 added and a replica in gold of the L. K. Stewart Wing cup goes to the owner of the winner each year, the original cup being held only Tom year to year and transferred to the owner of the next winner. The donors of the cup are Mr. L. E. Stewart Wing and Mr. S. Rryce Wing.
