RUSHING WORK OF CONSTRUCTION. New Track in Jefferson Parrish Nearly Completed John Dillon Resigns. f New O.rleans, La., August 10. When the Business Mens Racing Association meets within the next two weeks the resignation of John Dillon will be accepted. Louis Lang, well-known contractor, is mentioned as Mr.. Dillons successor. Mr. Dillon refused to discuss the matter of his resignation today. It is! understood it was handed In July 7. Work on tlie new track in Jefferson Parrish is being rushed, and G. D. Bryant, of Bowie, Md., and J. F. .OHara, of Philadelphia, large stockholders of tracks in Maryland and Canada, are aiding the" Jefferson people In every way to build their tracks.
