GOVERNMENT HORSES WIN SHOW PRIZES PRIZESNEW NEW YORK December 12 Joseph W Burden who recently conducted a most successful horse show at Camp Dir has written Frank J Bryan of the Hunts Committee telling of the affair He says saysFor For your interest I am inclosing you a marked copy of the program of our horse show The showing was indeed creditable as all of the horses with the exception of two which were not winners were the property of the United States government While there was no time for preparation many good types of animals were shown Had we been able to have this show before so many men at Camp Bis had been discharged we would undoubtedly have had twice the number of entries I do not believe that an open air horse show was ever held in the north as late as December 0
