THORNCLIFFE PARK NOTES TORONTO Ont June 2 2It It is said that arrangements have been completed by Joe Cattarinich and his asso ¬ ciates to take over the Niagara Falls track which means that meetings will be held at this course during the summer summerHarry Harry C Hatch has registered his racing colors with the Canadian Racing Ascocia tions They are light blue jacket dark blue hoops with white ball on front and back and light blue cap These are the colors of the Argonaut Rowing Club of which organization Mr Hatch is a member memberJohn John Turner announced that the condition books for the Blue Bonnets meeting will be ready for distribution among the horse ¬ men tomorrow Louis Angevine secretary of the Montreal Jockey Club wired that he would be here on Saturday The stakes of the Montreal Jockey Club have been reopened in order to give purchasers at the Ross and Livingston sales an opportunity of entering in these events The new date fixed for the closing of these stakes is June 11 11W W H Bringloe left for New York to look over available material Several of the Sea ¬ gram horses arc on the ailing list and the stable will be strengthened by the addition of several good horses providing Bringloe can secure them It is likely that some of this new material will come from the Harry Payne Whitney stable stableThe The books for the Devonshire meeting were distributed among the horsemen yesterday by W E Burke BurkeWoolworth Woolworth the plater in the W Fenwick stable is on the shelf He pulled up lame after a recent workout and an examination developed the fact that the horse had a quarter crack His trainer has decided to put the horse away until fall fallE E P Summerfield received word this morning that his good mare Tidings by Theo Cook put of Glad Tidings had foaled a handsome bay colt by Wrack at the Holly Beach Farm in Maryland The mare will be bred back to the imported stallion Sir Grey steel steelJockey Jockey Bourassa accompanied by his agent Charles Hagan left for St Louis tonight Bourassa will have the mount on W J Salmons Black Panther in the Fair mount Derby which will be run on Satur ¬ day dayJockey Jockey F Seremba was an arrival from Aurora He will ride as a free lance
