At Washington Park ParkOne One Best Bet HONEYNOOK In the Fourth Race The Madonna Purse framed for fillies and mares over the threequarters distance fea ¬ tures the card at Washington Park Friday This race carries a purse of 1500 and while there are only six entered they are pretty well matched and a good race should be the result resultTwoyearolds Twoyearolds are to furnish the racing in the next best offering named the Van Buren Purse and over the fiveeighths dis ¬ tance There are some good ones entered here and if the track is fast a hew track record is not beyond the possibilities The sixth and seventh are over the longer routes being at a mile out of the chute All in all it is a fine program which has been arranged for a Friday usually considered an offday on race courses coursesWAPONOCA WAPONOCA OMNIA FORETOLD FORETOLDIn In the initial dash WAPONOCA appears to have the best chance he being in fine form at present and he only has to race in his best style to win this event OMNIA does not call for much on recent races but he is said to be nearing his best form again and if such is the case will prove a tough one to beat FORETOLD was winner of his last start at Aurora and he may have to be reckoned with LADY LURA seems to be on the improve and may turn in a good per ¬ formance today todaySCOTLAND SCOTLAND GIRT MINTWIKI FERSETH FERSETHIn In the twoyearold race to be run as the second SCOTLAND GIRL figures to be the one to lead the way home True she was defeated in her last start at Churchill Downs but that was not her true race and expect her to show to much better advantage in this field MINTWIKI which races for W S Kilmer was winner of his only start to date and taking a line through that effort may be the one to beat FERSETH has shown enough of late to give him the call for third BIRDWOOD raced poorly in his start on opening day but may go better today todayRED RED GRANGE TORCH BOY DIMPLE DUNKIE DUNKIERED RED GRANGES efforts behind Flattery and Big Sweep on Wednesday should have put him right on edge for todays third offer ¬ ing and look for him to score an easy win He is meeting easier company here and is plainly the class of the race TORCH BOY will be making his first start of the year and if he races back to his trias stands a good chance of annexing some part of the purse DIMPLE DUNKIE is in pretty good form at the present and may do for the short end of the purse STURDY STELLA may bear watching HONEYNOOK BUN SUN SABEUB SABEUBThe The H C McConnell racer HONEYNOOK was possibly one of the best twoyearolds racing at Aurora winning his last three races with ease While he meets somewhat better opponents today he still stands out as the best and figures to add this race to his score BUN turned in some pretty good races over the Kentucky tracks and should not have much trouble in holding the others safe for second money SUN SABEUR on best form is given the call for third LITTLE BROOM raced well in the East and is possibly the best of the others othersSILVER SILVER SONG CHAFF BARBARA BARBARAIn In the Madonna Purse SILVER SONG is selected to win She landed in the money in two of her three races at Aurora though failing to win and could beat this band if she put forth her best efforts today CHAFF is in her best form right now and figures to cause plenty of trouble for SILVER SONG but the latter is possibly possessed of a little more cass and do not look for her to be beaten BARBARA has been coming along in fine style in her training moves of late and may do for the show end of the purse FANNIE MAY raced well behind Cudgeller and Magic Wand on opening day and may prove a surprise though outclassed here LADY MARIE may need racing after her long layoff layoffEAGER EAGER KUMONIN TRANSFER TRANSFEREach Each and every one of those entered for the sixth last raced at Aurora and of course EAGER the Mrs L M Holmes racer is given the preference He ran a good race his last time out to beat a fair band and only has to repeat that effort here to chalk up another win for his owner KUMONIN turned in a fast workout over the Aurora track during the waning days of that meeting and a race back to that trial should see him close up all the way TRANSFER is good at the present time and may do for third place POWER has been racing far below his best form formMISS MISS MEISE CHINK MISS ROSEDALE The final tilt engages an ordinary band of platers to make the issue with MISS MEISE possibly the best of the lot When in a running mood she is hard to beat and she should find this company to her liking CHINK turns in a good race every once in a while and may elect to race in his best style today MISS ROSEDALE should have benefited from her race on Wednesday and look for her to land some part of the coin in this number GRIERSON is not without a chance and he would not surprise by win ¬ ning
