Reeves7 Riding Features Sport at Fairmount Park ParkIllinois Illinois Boy Pilots Maisco MaiscoFor For Fourth Straight Winner COLLINSVILLE 111 June 1 Celebrat ¬ ing his final day as an apprentive R Bobby Reeves an Illinois boy rode three winners of the first four races at Fair mount Park this afternoon Reeves finished second on Carlarlass in the first race this dash resulting in victory for Cannons Ban ¬ ner who was foaled at adjoining Creekside Farm and then won the second race with Valdina Purge the third with Brastown and his triple was completed when J F Smiths Linn Creek a daughter of Pairby pair and Babuska won the fourth in easy fashion fashionReeves Reeves was slated to ride the full card of eight races and D C Wilhelm who holds his contract selected the best mounts available for him himThe The fourth contest was the best of an allclaiming race program as the local course resumed normalcy after the holiday period and twelve juveniles all maidens went in the four and onehalf furlong dash Rushed along by Reeves Linn Creek was always within striking distance of the pacemaking Shopper and Country Dude during the run to the final furlong After entering that point Linn Creek moved to Shopper with a rush and Reeves had his mount in front soon afterward Her mar ¬ gin at the end was five lengths Shopper lasted to garner second and Nancy Lee who lost much ground was third thirdIncidentally Incidentally Dan Howell also had a big day for he trains Valdina Purge Linn Creek and Brastown BrastownIn In riding his fourth winner of the day Reeves got Mrs A M Creechs Maisco home in handy fashion leading the fa ¬ vored Conscript by two and a half lengths with Swing Leader finishing third among the eight platers who accepted the issue in the fifth race
