Mrs Al Snider Receives 41 70 Check CheckMIAMI MIAMI Fla May 18 Mrs Albert Snider wife of the jockey who was lost on a fishing trip in the Florida Keys more than two months ago yesterday received a check for 4170 from Calumet Farm and jockey Eddie Arcaro as her late husbands share of Citations victory in the Kentucky Derby Snider was to have had the mount Arcaro was substituted He gave half his riding fee and owner Warren Wright matched the amount as a gift to Mrs Snider She planned to leave today for New York where her stepfather Mack Nevinn Orr is to undergo an opera ¬ tion at Presbyterian Hospital Mrs Snider has not completely given up hope for her husbands survival although she says It looks hopeless I have to face the facts and go on to make a life for my little girl Her daughter Nancy is 6 Mrs Snider revealed that while her maid Rose Doon was packing the late jockeys clothing she found 4000 cash in an old envelope in the pocket of one of his shirts and also a check for 295 made out to Snider Al was always hiding money around the house said Mrs Snider
