Suspend Trainer Cilio at Washington On Charges of Stimulating Richwall Stewards of Lincoln Fields Meet Refer Case to Illinois Board for Further Action ActionWASHINGTON WASHINGTON PARK Homewood 111 June 3 The Lincoln Fields Racing Asso ¬ ciation stewards issued the following ruling here today relative to the alleged stimula ¬ tion of Richwall winner of a race here on June 1 1948 It is the first stimulation case to come to light in Illinois for a long period of time and the trainer involved is Angelo Cilio who conditioned a public stable stableThe The ruling follows followsOn On report of the chemist representing the Illinois Racing Board that the horse Richwall winner of the first race on June 1 1948 at Lincoln Fields race meeting held at Washington Park race track Home wood 111 trained by Angelo Cilio was found to be stimulated stimulatedIt It is hereby ordered 1 That Angelo Cilio is suspended and his case referred to the Illinois Racing Board for further action and 2 That all horses owned or trained by Angelo Cilio are barred from further entry 3 That the purse won by the liorse Richwall in the first rate on June 1 1948 at Lincoln Fields race meeting it Wash ¬ ington Park race track Homewood 111 be held until further action and not distrib ¬ uted 4 That this entire matter be referred to the Illinois Racing Board for further action
