Start fair Won driving and out to the last ounce second and third doing their best Ailyar Halyard was lucky and perfectly ridden He is a very good colt Martin got him away flying took the short route and finished with power when the pinch came Toluca Toucan on the rail looked dangerous at the head of the stretch Martin was on the h okout knout though and took par ¬ ticular titular oams foams not to let Clawson Lawson through Formero Former was perhaps the best He stumbled and almost fell at the start H Martin had him on the outside all the way too This fellow is a good colt but unlucky Judge Tarvin Arvin was right there all the way He ran a good race Jolly Roger was leftScratched off poorly and could never get through Holland was practically left Scratched Sea Lion 115 SECOND RACE 34 Mile a good colt and has improved wonderfully since he changed hands Meddler was the cause of all the delay at the post He was a good horse himself today and ran an honest race considering the way he was u ed during the long delay George H Ketcham Ketch has a lot of speed It was used the first fiveeighths firefights and he tired badly at the end The Keutuckian Kentuckian made up a lot of ground Start good Won handily second and third driving to the limit It was a sparkling race and is a record breaker in every sense of the woid wood taking two seconds off Buckwas Backwash mark Goodrich was undoubtedly the best In his present form he is certainly a crack ¬ er jack and has been very consistent at this track Burns rode a perfect race on the colt He rated him nicely and took the short route On the turn for home he hit Goodrich a couple of times with his whip and the colt responded gamely and was hand ridden only the last eighth What or Lou ran a grand race No complaint can be made of the ride on him either Foucon Soupcon may have made 1 is run tco taco soon but it cut no figure in the result He was not good enough to beat Goodrich Morte Mote Fonse Fosse who is in rare form just now finished with a rush He would have been second in a few more strides Bing Being Binger Bringer was rank and ran under a choking pull the first mile He is a go d horse now Candelaria Candelabra was ran her best The filly seemed short on early speed She was noie noire too well ridden This was the best excuse for her defeat Caywood Cawed was on the out ¬ side t ok the long route and made his run too soon He also got careless when in front and in ¬ stead of going on about his business he wasted time and ground by looking around laughing at those nehiua Nehru him It was certainly a careless
