THE SCHORR HORSES. The recent sale of Sligo, Sea Robber and Fal-con Light to Dr. H. Riddle, former trainer for J. J. McCafferty, leaves J. W. Schorr and Son -with a stable of thirty-five all told. Algol, Macy, Charley Christy, Meadowthorpe, Timemaker, Lieber Karl, Presbyterian, Jackanapes and Wilson will form the four-year-old and upward division. Algol looks to be in the pink of condition, and does not show any bad effects from his hard campaign of twenty-five races last year, is sound as a dollar, with not a blemish on him, and with no accident the son of Top Gallant ZEquality will prove a factor in the big eastern handicaps, with a reasonable allotment of -weight. Lieber Karl has developed into a handsome horse, has spread out and let down into a bulky looking animal, on the order of his sire, For ester. The colt shows no bad effects of the iron -which was applied last fall, his legs seem sound and he promises to train. Meadowthorpe, the son of Kantaka Baby, did not face the flag last year, but is now doing well and will race. In the early rart of last spring the Schorrs had great faith in Meadowthorpe, but he went wrong and was turned out for the year. Macy, only recently back from New Orleans, shows the need of a good rest, which will be given. The three-year-olds of this stable will be W. Overton, Sea Lion, Cathedral, Ordnung, Pirate Judge, Lieber Anton, Albert Swind, Nailer, Willie Howard and The Diver. W. Overton, byBelvidere Peninah, was taken sick just after the Junior Championship Stakes was decided, and it is only in the last three weeks that the colt has begun to round to, but the improvement has been rapid, and if it continues he will be a prominent candidate for the Tennessee Derby. Cathedral, now racing at New Orleans, Sea Lion and Ordnung are considered fail colts, -while the balance of the Schorr throe-year-olds are only ordinary. The fifteen unnamed two-year-olds are in general a fine looking lot. They are as follows: Chestnut colt, by Kingston Nihil. Bay colt, by Deceiver Gypsy Queen. Chestnut colt, by Fonso May Ban. Bay colt, by Farandolo Ranotte. Chestnut colt, by Jim Gore Lady Jack, Brown colt, by Jim Gore Malva R. Biotvn colt, by Wagner Indiana. Bay colt, by Kantaka Josephine. Bay colt, by Deceiver Anna Gray. Bay colt, by Prince of Monaco Queen Deceiver. Brown colt, by Bramble Lady Lindsay. Brown filly, by Boundless Empora. Chestnut colt, by St. Florian Reckon. Chestnut colt, by Cayuga Prosperity. Chestnut colt, by Hanover Adelia. The plan of campaigning an eastern and western stable, which was inaugurated last year by this firm, will be followed again this year. Morning Telegraph.
