NOTES OF THE TURF. Major Daingerfield expects to ship east this week fifty-four yearlings fiom the Castleton Stud. It is understood that Mr. Keene will not offer them for sole, but will have them trained for himself. In the lot are tho last of the get of Domino. T. M. Berry has brought suit against the St. Louis Fair Association, Robert Aull, C, C. Maffitt and Joseph Murphy, for 0,000 damages because of his recent ruling off. There will probably be a discrepancy between the amount sued for and the amount recovered. Pat Dunne and his friends fell hard when Fly By Night was beaten by Captain Sigsbee last week but more than recouped their losses over Bannockburns victory Saturday. Jockey Holden has contracted to ride for Senator J. S. OBrien during the remainder of the St. Louis meeting. Tillo has been punch fired and turned out. It is probable last years Suburban winner is done as a racer. It is said that Mr. William Gerst, tho Nashville brewer, will be represented on the turf next season by a string of thoroughbreds. The Clark, A. Belmont and Bell strings all left Brighton Beach for Saratoga, Saturday.
