GOSSIP OF THE TUKF, George Silers "Bulletin of Sports" is a publication of recent origin but it is making its way in public favor witn a measure of rapidity that it richly deserves. It is a marvel of compact arrangement and decidedly superior to the longer established publications of similar character in the much greater amount of information it furnishes concerning the current sports of the day. Silers little editorial column is a novel and entertaining feature. Presenting the entries of all the tracks where racing is in progress instead of the local track entries only is another feature of value. The supplement issued free weekly in connection with the Bulletin is alone worth the cost of subscription to the latter. It gives at a glance all that has happened during the week previous in racing, baseball, pugilism, yachting, aquatics, tennis, cricket, billiards, cycling, athletics, golf, fly-casting, swimming in short, every Bporting event of any nature whatever. In the advertising department of this iusue of Daily Racing Form will be found the list of richly endowed stakes proffered the turfmen of tbe country by the Brooklyn Jockey Club. Secretary Hugh D. Mclntyte is a past master of the art of framing racing conditions to meet the needs of all grades of hotses and owners and no better devised atakes than those that come from his hand eaoh year are presented for the consideration of owners and trainers. Entries to these stakes close August 15, and owners desiring to make entries can obtain entry blanks at this office. At no track in the east are western owners better cared for and entertained than at Brooklyn, and Daily Racing Fobm bespeaks for these stakes care- j f ul consideration and generous patronage from j the turfmen of the west.
