Winner Ch. f , by Falconer Emmeline. Off at the first break to a gooa start. Won very easily; it was a terrific drive for the place. Emma Nora broke well on her stridr, was lucky to escape interference on tbe first turn and always held tbe rtce safe. She was eased up in thejast sixteenth of a mile. Deceive got into an ugly jam and was badly interfered with. When straightened down the backstretch tie made up a lot of gronnd and ian a good race. Ramlet weakored under pressure at the end. She seemed to bs of little or no account. Prince C. did well. Onr Friend ran out in the Btretch This is all that kept him out of tbe money. Brown Dick was short on speed. It was a bid lot. Won in a loDg, hard drive of two ; third and fourth were doing their best. Itnn3a peculiarly run race, as far as Florizar was concerned. He seems to bo a colt of notions and sulked badly at the head of the Btretch. After making the stretch turn he flashed by Hansford and for an instant was a full length in the lead. All of a sudden, however, the colt stopped as if shot. Knapp immediately started to work on him and by desperate riding managed to get him going again and final y got np in time to win. Knapp rode a powerful flnith. Hantforu took the short ronta and ran a good race. Dramburg was the best astho race was run. He was baoly interfered with on the far tnrn, but finished like a good one. Aloha II. ran an improved racs. Dr. Tarr works 1 ast Dut will not run to his work. Florizar, place, 8 to 5; show, 4 to 5. Hansford, place, evens; show, 2 to 5. Winner B. h, by Athelstan Sunbeam. Post 3 minntes. Start good. Won well in hand; second and third driving hard. Cherry Leaf was the best and was v. ell ridden. This horse is good and will be hard to beat from now on. Crowhuist placed him to perfection and made his run at the right time. Carnero finished with a tremendous rush. He beat I rocket for the place in the last few strides. The latter showed a lot of speed but quit bad y after going a mile. Mud or a sloppy track is her forte. Deerings hard race at Hariem Saturday evidently took the heart out of him. At that he did not rnn a bad race. Dog Town can win in lower company. Overweights Crocket, 11 pounds. Off at the first break to a gcod start. Won cleverly. It whs a fierce drive for the place. Espionage, under a clever ride, ran a grand race. Little Brown placed the filly intelligently down tLo backs retch and as there was no very fast pace the race was rnn precisely to suit her. When the stretch was reached Espionage shot to tbe front like a flash. This filly is of good class and is in good form now. Go To Bed was a false alarm. He ran a fair race hut that was all. Hany Nutter lost ground on the stretch turn but finished strongly. There was no fast early pace and that accounts for Prince Blazes being in front during the first part of the journey. Winner B. f, by King Eric Tara Blackburn. Off at the first break to a good start. Won driving and out to the last ounce; second, third and fourth driving as hard. Mittens win was a lucky one. She got all tangled up down the backstretch and at tbe half-mile post did not seem to have a chance. Nutt, however, skinned the rails on the stretch turn. Bud, taking a desperate chance, he luckily got through. The filly barely got up in time. Had Hoi- nd pulled to the inside at the head of the stretch. Mitten could not have gotten through and Azua would have won. Lomond had no excuses. Caviar lost considerable ground on tbe Btretch turn. Zazel had bad racing luck.
