She was the cause of the long delay by refusing to Dreak, but eventnandlly not away ffyiog. The delay at the po3t did not hurt her, for j she simply stood still, while the others broke out numerous tims and practically ran their races there. Roer B. ran a gcod race and hucg on gamely at the end He perhsps was the best and had they got away ii reasonable time wonld feave won. Ieen would have been f econd in a few morn strides. He is a good colt aod is in the best of form at pre:ent. Dick Furber finished with a tremendous rush. He got the place in the last stride. Lomond hnng a bit at the end and Rose was also a trifle careless. Rosa Diah was runni; g well in band when Strathbroeck bnmped into and a most threw her over the fence. It 1 was a dirty piece of riding on Brophys part. Lew Kraft did not run his race. Beauchamp rode : him bard all the way. Scratched 13982 Ffrrizar, 103; 13209 Wasanta, 97; 139S2 Dramburg, 105. Off t the first break to a good sart. Won driving and rut to the last ounce; second and third driving aho. Cherry Leaf ran one of toi best races, and had to do so to win. He was tiring fast at the ouo, and Ctrnero would have beaten him in a fear more strides. Crowhurat rode a very goon ace on Cherry Leaf, tie waiea patiently for Benn-viUo to come back and made his run at the pr. per time. When he did he also stole a march on Carnero. The latter finished with a tremen jous rush. Bdnuchamp perhaps waited too long with hun. Still no fault could be fooud with the ride. When Benneviile stopped he stopped all over. The track was a tr fie cuppy, and this was a hanrticao to him. Go To Bed was in too fast company. He finished where ho belonged. Overweights Go To Bed, 2 pounds. Winner B. c, by Lewis Clark Kate Foley. Off at the first break to a perfect start. It was a terrific drive at the end between the first three. Clifton B. barely managed to get up in the last stride. He fenced well, was skilfully ridden and his win was in accordance with form. The horse has been steadily improving with every race at the jumping game. My Valentine weakened at the end when the pinch came. He wobbled all over the course and interfered with Princess Murphy. The latter will make a good one at jumping. She jumps well and has abundant speed on the flat. The weight anchored Jack Hayes. Gypceiver went wrong at the eame spot he did in his last two starts. Overwt ights Zufallig, 14 pounds. Racivan hnng on gamely at the end and Devin finished cleverly on him riding with his hands. Fauandturo dislikes a route but hung on more gamely than usual. Jenkins hugged the rail with him in the stretch and wonld not let Harry Nutter through. This cost the latter the race. He was the best and only bad racing luck generally beat him.
