Winner B. c, by Esher Aunt Jennie. Off at the first break to a good start. Won cleverly at the end after an early drive; the next four were under keen pressure. Lew Kraft could not keop np in tho early part of the race, but he had sp6ed left when the others were all out. Zazel came from behind in the stretch with a terrific rush. So did Florizir. There was a lot of changing of positions in tho last quarter, Satan had no oxcnsss. He hung at the end. Tildee was roughly treated by Jenkins, on Rock-light, on the far turn and was also pinned in on the rail in the stretch. Rocklight has a fins turn of speed, but is a non-stayer. It was a falsely rnn race. Scratched 13979 Aloba II.. 97. Overweights-Bocklight, 11 pounds; Satan, 1; Brown Thrnsh, 1. Lew Kraft, place, evens; show, 1 to 2. Zazel, placa, 6 to 1; show, 21 to 1. Winner B f, by Order Ganges II. Post 6 minutes. Start good. Won in a hard drive; second, third, fourth and fifth driving.-ashard. Aureole was a lot the best and had to be to win. The ride he got from H. Wilson would have been a handicap to any horse. The boy was in a good position going down tbn back-stretch, but on the far turn foolishly tried to so through on the inside and got shut off. For an instant it seemed all up with Aureole, but when straightened away in the stretch she came again, like a flash and won a well earned race. Plantain ran a good race. Be was biting at Goose Liver all through the stretch and interfered with him more or less. The latter spemed to be winning on the turn but hung in th final drive. Rosa Masso was badly ridden. Fogg waited j until the race was practically over before he made a move. Croesu3 was very roughly treated on tti9 first tarn and, in f ct, the entire journey. He was compelled to run around the entire field on the stretch turn then finished very Btronar. Scratched 13214 Hosi, 105; 13842 Annowah, 99; 13844 Elidad, 103; 9635 Globe II., 105; 13990.
