Winner 3 g, by Jim Gore Mischief. Off at the first break to a fair start. Won hand ridden yet out to the last ounce. There was u lot of action behind the winner. Wordsworth beat the barrier and had no excuses. Dugan seemed 10 make too much use of him down the baekatretcn, still it is mora than likely that he is of no present accoint. Inueado fancied the dosp, honvy going and went to the front cleverly in the stretch. The Plutocrat had all kinds of bad racing luck but stood it gamely. He is get-ting good again. More and Mcch collided at the start. She was slow getting in motioa but when she did sue passed those in front of her as though they were tied. Izaik is speedy but faint-hearted. Ho looked a sure winner on the far turn, but collapsed when Kittie G. collared him. Maiie Maree was sharply shut off and interfered with on the far turn. Bat for this she would have been a keen contender. Antonietta got away none too well and ran an honest race. Barrica looked big and high, and stopped as though short. WT nner Br. c, by Jim Gore Britisu Blue Blood. Off bt tho first break. Won in a hard drive. Monongah was far the best and should have won without trouble. Tiinon bumped into him and came within an aca of throwing him on the first turn. Patterson wa unseated and was exceedingly lucky not to fill off. This incident took the nerve out nf the hoy and from that on ho was unable to do justice to the gelding. Afttr the mix up on the rlrat"turn, Patterson used poor judgment in using Monongah as much as he did down tho backstretch. The boy also succeeded in getting badly cut off on the far turn. Everything considered, Wilsons win was the most lucky ono ever teen on the track. He was very tired at the end and Burns used excellent judgment in not using tho whip. Denude did well as far as he neat. Watch him. He was short. Under a bungiine; rile Timon ran well. Wilson, place, 2 to 5. Monongah, place, 2 to 5. Timon, show, 2 tol. Dabride, place, 2to 1.
