She swerved over to the rail at the furlong post and shut off Glenwood. The latter came again at the end and would have won in two more strides. , Strategist iiung when it came to a drive. William Ack swung to the outside at the stretch turn and fini.-hed strongly. Juniper showed speed to the stretch but tired near the end. Egyptian Prince was pulled up at the start. Dutch Comedian was outrun the early stages but under a hustling ride gradually worked his way to the front finishing strongly. Oliver Mc quit quickly when challenged. He was going easily when he quit. Emigre was cut off at the far turn and Shaw had to pull up. The distance was too far for Golden Rattle. Scratched— 17575 Henry Bess, 105. She gradually wore down Waring and beat him in the last stride. Waring was pricking his ears going down the back-stretch but condition and weight told on him at the end. She swerved into Tonicum at the stretch turn and kept cutting horses off all through the stretch. The Regent had to be hard ridden to get third place. It was a weak finish on Tonicum. Kingful was 1 pinched off at the sixteenth post and Booker had to pull him up and come around. The Laurel ran a good race from where she got off. He then cam around his field and swung wide when entering the stretch. Goldoue hung in the last sixteenth Royal Sterling and Dissenter were used up in setting the pace.
