Kamara ran a good race, avoided the early pace and drew away from the others when Shaw called on her. Peaceful, off well, closed strongly under punishment. The route was too far for Leedsville. but he showed speed and hung on well in the stretch. Lindula closed a big gap. Dolando had no excuses. He was well up. but tired at the end. The pair fought it out sturdily in the stretch and the former lasted longest, but he was all out. Greyfeld closed strongly at the end and would have been second in two more strides. Rafaello was outrun all the way. Rush tired badly after running six furlongs. The company was too hot for John Bright. The Amazon showed her usual speed, but could not go the route. Einer was outclassed and Sir Fitzhugh ran his race. Scratched— 189162Lady Massey, 99. Jack Point, place. 6 to 5; show, 1 to 2. MacLeod of Dare, place, 2 to 1; show, 4 to 5. Decanter, show, 2 to 5. The Amazon, place, 6 to 5 ; show. 1 to 2.
