OAIMANS FAST MILE. A London letter to Morning Telegraph, uuder date of July 14, contains the following concerning a marvellous display of speed by Caiman : "Although unable to finish better than third for the recent £10,000 Princess of Wales Stakes at Newmarket, Lord William Beresfords American bred four-year-old Caiman, by Locohatchee — Happy Day, yesterday broke all time records in winning the Lingfield Park Stakes at the OOMTINCBD ON 8BOOND PAQB.
