Won driving; second easily. Mr. Jer-■ sey ran a good, game race. He raced Waring into submission but he was all out to beat Kinni-kinnick. The latt»rs race was a big surprise. He has not performed well in sprinting races recently. He would have won in another stride. Waring quit when the pinch came. May W. showed speed to the stretch and then tired. Hood"s Brigade was outrun after passing the three-eighths post. Scratched— 196382Mayor Gilroy, 116; 17862 Lady Contrary, 103. Mr. Jersey, place, 7 to 10: show, out. She was never troubled at any part of the race and won as she pleased. Orion ran well and will bear watching. McCnes riding of Sparrow Wing was bad. He seemingly never tried to catch the winner, and in the stretch eased up so that he would not be second. Winner— Ch. c, by Albert-Bonnie Ola. Went to post at 2 :38. At post 3 minutes. Start bad. Won driving; second handily. Bonni-berts victory was one of the fluky kind. The start helpad him, while he had clear sailing all the way. On the other hand, Alard Scheck got off poorly and was interfered with by his stable companion. Lady Schorr. He would have won in another stride. Garry Hermann, with a good ride, might have won. He beat the flag, but Boland rode a wretched race. He had his horse in the soft going next to the rail, and in the stretch floundered all over the colt. Termless showed his usual speed, but tired. He seemed likely to win up to the last hundred yards, then tired. Lady Schorr was doing her best ail the way. Tnskaros.i was outclassed. Scratched -19333 Rivenoak. 110.
