For the opening day Secretary Nathanson has in preparation a special program of races, the feature of which will be the Speed Stakes, at three-quarters of a mile for all ages. During the coming meeting at Harlem seven stake events will be contested. These features will take place on the following dates: Monday, September 3— The Speed Stakes, for all ages, 3-4 mile. Thursday. September fi— The Graduate Stakes, j for two-year-olds, 3-4 mile. Saturday, September 8— The Harlem Stakes handicap. 1 1-8 miles. Tuesday. September 11— The Aspirant Stakes, for two-year-olds, 4 1-2 furlongs. Wednesday. September 12— The September Steeplechase, full course. Saturday, September 13— The Combination Stakes, all ages, selling, 1 mile. Secretary Nathanson has decided to make the Turf Congress Handicap the feature of Chicago Day. Tuesday, October 9.
