THE SEPTEMBER MEETING. The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Stewards of the Western Jockey Club was held on Monday, September 2. The Worth Jockey Club was allotted the dates October 10 to October 26, inclusive, and officials were approved as follows : M. N. Macfarlan, presiding judge. R. A. Hiller, secretary. Richard Dwyer, starter. Hugh E. Keough, patrol judge. James Loughman, paddock judge. P. P. Pomeroy, clerk of scales. M. N. Macfarlan and R. A. Hiller, handicap-pers. S. M. Apperson was appointed steward to represent the Western Jockey Club. The application of steeplechase jockey Spencer Sutherland for reinstatement was denied. Application of F. J. Kittleman for trainers license was denied. The following applications for license were passed for future action: Trainers -N. M. Chrismon, R. W. DeNeffe, John Fleming, C. E. Waters, A. Huntley. Jockey William Valentine. The following licenses were revoked: Trainers W. M. Hayes, J. P. McCann. Jockeys C. Dugan, F. Houston, H. J. Howell Apprentice O. Todd.
