NOTES OF THE TURF. F. B. : 1 A combination is a bet that two or -mora horsea will win at odds displayed or agreed upon at the time the bet is made, and is usually, but not always, lost when one of the horses is scratched. 2 A parolee ia a bet that two or more horses will win at track, or room or "ticker" odds, accumulating, and in case of scratches remains flood as to such horses as are not scratched. 3 The answer to the other persons query did not relate to your case, but was an entirely different proposition. Racing at Harlem Saturday having been declared off the horses composing Dr. H. E.-Row-alls stable were not sold, as had been intended, but they will be sold at Hawthorne to-morrow at 1 p.m. instead. Some excellent campaigners, with the fast horee Malay at the head, will no doubt prove profitable investments.
