Though come have stated Water Color doeB not possess gameneBB and cannot Btand being collared, it takes a goad horse to catch the fleet-footed three-year-old. After Water Colors splendid performance in the Century Stakes on Saturday it was remarked that if Commando had not gone amies a race between the great sou of Domino and Water Color would have been worth seeiag. Commando, however, is a permanent cripple and abont to be retired. Water Color, it would seem, has elaiaas to the title of champion three-year-old, J. G. FollaDBbeee Boehampton is the winner of eight aonsecutive racee and close to tho head of the three-year-old class, bnt it it not believed that he could cope with Water Color in weight and going a distance. Water Color is also one of the most handsome animals on the American turf. Spirit of the TimeB.
