I.UCIIilEIEAD. I New York, September 17. Luciline, one of the bast two-year-old fillies of the year, died at Eatontown two days ago, still the property of M. Murphy. Goldsmith,- todays winner of the Junior Champion Stakes, was hurt on his journey from Sbeepshead Bay and the advisability of scratching him was seriously considered, but not giving evidence of any lameness in his preliminary he waB sent to the post, where his stable companion, Blue Girl, administered a parting kick for gocd luck, cutting a deep gash on the already injured leg. The first money in the great filly stakes, recently won by Leonora Loring, will after all probably revert to Blue Girl owing to the failure of Major Thomas to register Dr. T. H. Burchs partnership in the ownership of the weanling at the time of entry. There will be a meeting tomorrow of the Btewards to decide the point, which practically hangs on, Did Thomas own the woanling the now Leonora Loring when born?
