GOSSIP OF THE TURF. Mr. William C. Whitney announcsd on Friday of last week that he had purchased from John E. Madden all interest in the Futurity winner, Yankee, son of Hanover and Correction. With the purchase of Mr. Maddehs interest in Blue Girl and Gunfire, Mr. Whitney has now acquired full title to all three of the above mentioned racers. He will send Nasturtium, Yankoa, Blue Girl and others to England to fill their engagements of next year, before cold weather, or soon after the Morris Park moating ends.
