Dr. Eichberg was best and outjumped and outraced his fiold at all stages. Jessie S. ran a remarkably good race, showed spaed on tho flat and marked skill through the field. Bacchanal was trying today but in spite of a good race waB not equal to the first two. Cheesemite was unable to keep up today in glaring contrast to her last previous race, where she could apparently have headed Dr. Eichberg at any time. Jim Megibben was hopelessly outrun. Won easily; second the same Endurance by Right received a lucky start and with Whiskey King at once drew out of the field. Theso two left the others as if they wera anchored and the race was strictly confined to them throughout. Schorrs incomparable filly pulled away from the improved Pepper colt on the 6tretch turn and thereafter tho result appeared a foregone conclusion. Never before in this country wan ever a two-yar-old filly set such a task and triumphed so decisively over a choice collection of colts; conceding from 13 to 36 ponndB. Whiskey Kings running today confirms his remarkably improved form and his preferencee for this particular track. Chilton and King Hanover raced in close order for the entire distance and are evidently very close together, but they failed to stick in the last quarter. Tribes Hill requires a strong hustling jockey and should improve. Grail is rounding to and finished strongly. . Winner B. c, by Sir Dixon Bonnie Blue. Went to post at 3:53. At post 2 minutes. Start good. Won easily; second the same.? Blues running very easily, waited on Water Color to the beginning of the backstretch, where he was sent into the lead with a magnificent burst of speed and appeared to be a certain winner thereafter. He was at no time fully extended. Water Color was undoubtedly handicapped by the Boft and rather deep going and was unable to stride with the freedom that he did at Bheepshead Bay. The race was confined to these two throughout, and Advance Guards last victory over them both must be accounted an extremely, lucky one. Today Advance Guard and First Whip were hopelessly outrun. Mary Worth took the lead at the start and maintained it in the gamest possible fashion to the end. Man oWar, tinder a vigorous finish, waB lucky to get second place. At that he is improving steadily. Lady Sterling, sadly handicapped by a bad jockey, finished like a flash after a rough and in capable hands might have won. She is a good filly in bad hands. OHagen mnst Sassage, o extra good on his excellent showing in this race. He is a real clinker in mud. Schwalbe succumbed unexpectedly to the fast pace set by the winner. She cantered to the post lame and sore. Fonsoluca closed a big gap. So did City Bank, which was badly ridden. Black Dick broke slowly and was compelled to run wide around the field on the stretch turn, but came away in the stretch in decisive fashion and was easily best. Alfred Yargrave closed a tremendous gap from a bad sendoff and was easily second best. Ethics was lucky and well handled but quit in the stretch and was probably short. He is hardly aa good class as was supposed. Knight of the Garter is in fine condition and will give a good account of himself from now on. Lone Fisherman tired unaccountably and can do better. Speedmast appears to better advantage on a good track, strange to say. 8cratched-28S52Blueaway, 119; 28328Intrasive, 119; 162793 Alp an, 106; 27877 Armor, 106; 28255 Harry McCoun, 101.
