Springwells was tiring all through the last furlong and was driving to the limit to stall off St. David. Young Henry was off poorly and interfered with in the first part of the race. Ganesa, Strathcona Belle and Easy Street were used up in Betting the pace. The latUr was probably short. Flintlock began slowly and did not run his race.
