Clarke finished stoutly under a clever ride and was gradually going away at the end. Our Pride ran an excellent race and .stood a drive all the way down the stretch. Lady Bird began to tire when the pinch came and had no mishaps. Lawrence M. came with a rush at the end after making up ground in the last quarter. Mary Pine ran fairly well throughout. Baugh Naugh Gene showed quite a turn of speed but was tiring fast at the end. Loyaletta tired and quit all over in the laBt fifty yards. Pencil Me showed early speed. Lord Chesterfield fenced cleanly throughout and came away easily when Saintly began to tire just after the tenth jamp had been taken. The latter waB tiring at the end and had all he could do to land in second place. He swerved into Queenship at the last sixteenth post on the inside rail throwing the latter off her stride. He was promptly disqualified for this, Queenship getting Becond place and Corrillo bding placed third. Queenship ran a clever race and finished strongly. Corrillo was never a sharp contender. Coley ran out just beforo the last jump had been reached. Coronatus ran out of the course just after taking the eighth jump. Patroon threw his rider while taking the first jamp. Mollie T. showed speed for half a mile but tired badly when the stretch drive came. Coacoas race was below her form and Bhould be ignored in future calculations.
