Aladdin, under a vigorous ride, finished resolutely and was gradually going away at the end. Autumn Leaves ran a good race, showing much gamenesB in tbe laBt quarter. Harry New was cut off at the first quarter and wes wedged in between Autumn Leaves and Aladdin at the last eighth post. With any kkd of racing luck he would have bern second. I. Samelsen ran a surprisingly good race, holding on well for five furlongs. Jack Battlin, as usual, showed hie early speed, but could not carry it over five furlongs. Odnor laid within easy distance of Gonfalon until juBt about the stretch entry where he waB called upon and ran into the lead quickly. He won with plenty to spare at the end. Argregor closed up stoutly in the last quarter but could not concede the weight to the winner. He is good now and will be a bard horse to beat hereafter. Barrack ran in much improved form over his showing of the day before. This is accounted for on account of the track drying out fast. The Lady appeared to be-anchored with her impost and gradually fell away beaten after the first half had been run. Godfalon was speedy for seven furlongs. He propped slightly in the last sixteenth and finished toward the outside rail. Omdurman tired badly in the last eighth.
