Mabel Winn, off none too well, made up ground fast and got to the lead in the last eighth, but could not stall off the winners bid. Step Onward had speed to loan for a half mile, but she tired rapidly when ? fprlong oat-. Jan Oaker finished fast. Herse was right there up to the last sixteenth. Sea Queen showed a good turn of speed. Star of Bethlehem bears watching in a slower field, Lady Idria showed well for a half mile. The others never bad a chance.
