BENNINGS ;AN1 SARATOGA. H. G. Crickmore, secretary of the Washington Jockey Club, through the Racing Calendar, has announced a number of atake eventa which will be run off at the Bennings fall meeting. The main event is the Washington Cup, for three-year-olds and upward, with ,500 added, at two miles and a quarter. The next event of interest is the Hunters Champion.;SteeplechaBe, for hunters, four-year-olds and upward, withI,0Q0 added, distance two and a half miles. The Washington Cup is to be run on November 28. The entries will cIobb on November 25. The Hunters Steeplechase entries will close on November 18, but the date of rnnninghas notjbeen announced. The New Grandstand Handicap, a new event, will he run on November 11, "and the entries close at Morris Park on -October 26. This race is for three-year-olds and upward, at seven furlongs. Ths other events are : The District Special, forthree-year-olds and upward, with 00 added; heats of sixtfurlongs. The Bennings Special, for three-year-olds and upward, with 00 added, at one mile andja half. The Maximum, for three-year-olds and upward, with ,500 added, at three miles. In the Racing Calondar is also a list of stake a of tha Saratoga Racing Association which will have their closing on Nov.
