A Sa Ti went the distance well and will probably do better. Sylvian ran a good race. Ben OFallon can do better. Loone showed early speed and quit as usual. Lasso was off badly, closed up a lot of ground while going the long way and was probably best with an even break. Militant ran in improved form. Delsarte did his bast. Bermuda Prince had hard racing luck and can do better. Miss Aubrey showed but little of her usual speed. Ski Urn an had an easy race and can do better. Lady Bramble was cut off and the race does not go for her. Scratched 27781 Captain Lowery, 110. Our Lady, show, 2 to 5. Lasso, snow, 1 to 2. Militant, Bhow, 3 to 5. 28903 FOURTH RACE 3-4 Mile. Orleans, a much improved mare, was kept out of the early fast pace and brought up at the stretch turn with a dazzling burst of speed. She then won as hsr rider pleased. Tremar showed great early speed and hung on well in spite of A. D. Gibsons tremendous effort to get her out of Brulares way. A. D. Gibson began more slowly than usual and had to be punished to get to Tremar. His previous race at a mile Beamed to have taken the edge off his speed. Ciales waB taking care of Brulare, as thore is a deal of rivalry between their respective owners. Brulares race was very poor indeed. Scratched 28836 Tom Collins, 108; 28S02 Jake Weber, 105. Runnels, under restraint to the half, shot out like a locomotive when given his head and ran away from Peaceful as if the latter was standing still and won as his rider pleased. Peaceful ran a race that was much improvement over his last previous effort. Wax Taper should have been an easy second, but Aker was a hindrance to him. Antolee ran a good race. Albert F. Dewey did his best. Beana ran a dull race. Spry showed spaed to the half, then quit. Runnels, show, out. Peaceful, show, 3 to 5. Wax Taper, show, 3 to 5. 28905 8iXTH BACK 1 1-8 Miles. Winner B. f, by Sir Dixon Lake Breeze. Went to post at 4:55. At post 3 minutes. Start good. Won driving; second easily. South Breeze was sore in front but was carefully rated and came on fast when called upon but tired before Sir Hollas determined challenge at the end. 8ir Rolla could probably have won had he not been swung too wide into the stretch and allowed to swerve all over it. He was very good but was poorly ridden. Euterpe was used too much in the early stages and is not as good on a dry track as in the mud. Terra Incognita can do hotter. Banquo II. showed speed for six furlongs, seems to be improving and ought to win a race shortly. Scratched 28881 Rochester, 106; 288803Goorge Lee, 100. South Breeze, show, out.
