Dewey was given a lucky start, wore down Early Eve, took on apparently winning lead in the Btretch and ran a very speedy and game race. Early Eve has an amazing burst of spaed and the early pace was the fastest run on this track. G6nesoo was crowded out of position at the start and closed a tremendous gap and must be a good colt. Anak failed to stay at the end and prefers soft going. Sparklet made up ten lengths on the pacemaker and is a reported good one highly triad. Flying Buttress failed in the last quarter. - Scratched 291062Coi,necticut, 112; 29106 Hindred, 112; 28649 PaBt, 109; 29106 Gaygirl, 109; 29106 Si Ah, 109 ; 29060 Lady Mag, 109. Bowen gradually improved his pesision from a bad etart and caught the pacemakers tiring in the last furlong and came away strongly under a clever ride. Swett Tooth wont after Royal Sterling, which had beat the gato and raced him to a standstill. The former should have won. Alard showed great improvement and finished strongly. Eloim went fairly well. Aator had no chance at the start and with his bad jockey. Royal Sterling went a fast three-quarters, but emit almost to a walk in the stretch. Scratched 29081 Nitrate, 93. Bowen, show, 1 to 3. Tho latter had bean bumped on the first turn and suffered from interference in the stretch. She should have won as the raca was run but Surmise finishing like a whirlwind, after bsing nearly left and handled by an incompetent boy, must have been much the bast. Kimberly was badly handled throughout and was probably short. He can do much better. Cheriahod was practically left and made up much ground.
