Saddu--cee got away running, which advantage under clever handling enabled him to win. Bold Knight broke flat-footed and was pock e tod to the stretch when he came through next to the rail with a tremendous rush. Uorokantp. is extra pood on 1 heavy track and was favored by the slightly -wot going and closed a big gap from a poor send-off. Bastile did well and can win among slower ones. Cherries was handicapped by the going but made up a lot of ground from the half in. Alpaca quit in the Btretch bat was easing up right at the end. Alibert and Major Daingerfield were both favored by the soft track. The former displayed speed and unusual gamenass and the latter made up much ground from a bad break and was going fastest of all at the end excepting the winner. Dewey did his best and had no mishaps. Ban Howard waB poorly handled and jostled back at the start, but closed a big gap. Honolulu went well in the stretch. He fought it out gamely, however, at the end. Handi-capper was poorly handled. The Rhymer ran a bad race throughout, but was overweighted for such company. To a false break Doctor Riddlo led Harry McCoun and Hammock under a pull running the entire distance, and winning in a canter by five loogths before Harry McCoun, which-beat Hammock ae far, both driving. They were compelled to run the race over again and novar figured as contenders. Big Gun is a much improved horse and won in a drive after trailing Whistling Con and Astor to the stretch. The first namod showod much speed and outgamed the poorly ridden Astor in a driving finish for second place. Scratched 29105 Lucky Star, 107; 29085 Bondman, 106. Big Gun, show, 7 to 5.
