Boomerack tired slightly in the last eighth but was much the b3Bt of the others. Henry of Trastamare was never a serious contender. Light Ball was probably short. John A. Clarke was slow in getting into his stride, but cioaed up fast and Btrongly in the last eighth and was gradually going away at the finish. Hoodwink ran well and finished strongly. Autumn Loaves showed much improvement over her last race, but sho hung slightly in the laet fifty yards. Lou Woods showed a good turn of speed, but lost ground fast when the pinch came. Pronta was always outrun. Bragg was right there for four and a half furlongs. Golden Glitter ran far balow expectations. Duke of Connaught can do much better. Deboe came fast in the last eighth and handled his weight like a good one, winning going away. Telamon showed speed early but hung when the drive came and was lucky to get socond place. Robert Waddell was the best but Seaton was more a detriment than a help to him. Ho had him pocketed all down the backstretch and clear up to almost tho laBt eighth post. Even when Robert Waddell got cloar sailing Seaton conld not hold hiB head up and he was badly mismanaged in the closing strides. The others were outclassed. No show betting oh first three. The latter tired and hnng whon put to a etrong drive but was much the best of the others. Odnor appeared to have a chance when turning for home bnt tired and quit in the last eighth. He was interfered with by Orontas just at the Etretch turn but it hadly affected the result. Lennop fell away beaten when a quarter out. Gonfalon showed a good turn of speed for seven furlongs. Banish, was much the best and simply played with hiB field after the first quarter had been run. El Ghor finished stoutly and stood Uncle Toms bid in the last sixteenth gamely. The latter was handicapped by a weak ride or he wonld have been second. Admetns is a thing of the past, bnt ran a fairly good race. Azim waB always outrun. Tammany Chief could not get out of his own way.
