Tankard put up a good effort and finished well. McGrathiana Prince might have wen with better handling and an even break. Be closed a big gap in the laBt half. Cheeeemite showed speed and jumped well, but tbe route was too lor g apparently. Salesman was mnning easily when lie stumbled, fell and broke his neck in front of tbe stand. Rabunta had a rough trip. Alpaca, as utnal, showed speod and will about win before long a; a long price. Somersault was crowded at the start. He just about needed the race. Curteey did not run her race and can beat thiB kind. Warianted was given a poor start. Piederich was crowded out at the start.
