NOTES OF THE TURF. About the first of August Barney Schreiber will sell a lot of Sain and Balgowan yearlings at auction. He has between thirty and forty at Woodlands and will probably sell most of them. The performances of Otis, Schwalbe, Sofala, Dewey and other good ones should serve to make owners eager to secure these young horses. The sale will probably take place at St. Louis. Mayor Fleischmann, of Cincinnati, has sold his half interest in Blues to Frank Farrell, wherby the latter becomes sole owner of the good horse. J. H. G., Chicago. It was only 8 to 5 show Croix dOr at post time, owing to his having been well backed to run as good as third. S. G. A., Chicago. Americano was 1 to 4 to show.
