Flora Hoor.er caught Sammie Mac tiring in the last sixteenth, bnt was driving to the limit to stall off Heroine. The latter finished strongly under a hard drive. Sissy unseated her rider while at the post and ran away a mile. She jumped the fence into the infield and the field was started without her. The race was run in a heavy rain. Reservation raced Her Letter into submission in the first half and came away under a drive in the run home, but won going away. The light impost helped Night Owl and she finished very strongly through the final furlong. Her Letter ran a good, game race and fought it out all the way, but weight told on him at the finish. F. G. Blonde Grayson showed early speed, but tailed off in the last quarter. Bean did not run her race. He displayed a startling burst of speed in the last quarter and outgamed Terry Ranger when it came to a drive. The latter weakened at the end Yasodhara and Lady Ursula showed early speed but tired.
