First Chord was given a lucky start, showed the way throughout and won going away. Hackensack broke slowly in the deepest going, but finished strongly. Dark Planet closed a big gap from a bad send-off. Blue Delft made up much ground and was nearly left. Mount Kisco and Knocknagow tired badly in the stretch. Uranium will "do much better later on and is a good looker. Bright Girl was unable to negotiate the stiff going. Kentucky Cardinal can do bettor. Lady Radnor improved her position gradually from the start and came with a rush at the end. Roasignol beat the gate and was forced out of position early, but recovered and finished fast. She was best and is rounding too, evidently. Wissendine outstayed Lady Hblyrood in the final drive. The latter did not run her race. Neither One quit in the last furlong. Early Eve, away poorly and carried wide on the turn and losing much ground, commenced to close up like a flash when too late. Moranda held her own for a half. Himself, superbly ridden, ran an exceedingly gam race in going to his especial liking and finally wore St. Finnan down in the stretch. The lntter seemingly had the race well in hand and was apparently a certain winner almost throughout. Swiftm-ts commenced to fall back after going the first half well and having a great chance when called on, but be tired badly, evidently due to the muddy going. Warte Nicht quickly took a winning lead, which he never relinquished and was never extended. Bismarck broke natfooted and was crowded back in the first sixteenth, but ran around the field very fast and was going strongly and like a stayer at the end. Semper Vivax was outrun in the early part of the race but finished strongly. Bondage closed a big gap. Amorous quit after goiDg the first half. Handspinner had no chance with the ride. Bluff, bearing out on the turns and a very difficult horse to ride, was prominont to the stretch, whore he camo away strongly and outclassed the field in the going. Ninonia, away, poorly, closed a big gap and finished fast. Alsike tired at the end after displaying much speed and being apparently secure of second place. Arak is a good mudlark, but failed to stay because the jockey let go of his head on the backstretch. C. Ro3enfeld is possibly stale and Prince Richard was practically left.
