LOCAL TUKF GOSSIP. The report that Jockey Taylor, who died Wednesday at the Garfield Park Sanitarium, was "Smoky" Taylor is erroneous. The dead jockey was a brother to "Smoky" Taylor, and was buried yesterday in the Waldhsim Cemetery near Harlem, all expenses being defrayed by The Western Jockey Club. mU . i iWwmwi wn mimfv DodieS., which won the closing race, was bid up to 00 by W. W. Darden and retained by an advance bid of . . Ed Adack, which won the Olympia Stakes yesterday, was bid up 400 over his entered price of 00 and secured by G. R. Tompkins. C. E. Ellison and Albert Simons were the chief bidders on the horse until the ,700 mark was reached.
