HAKLEMS PROGRAM NEXT WEEK. While racing has been going on at Harlem since the close of the Washington Park meeting it has not been Harlems racing. That is to begin next Monday and will be in full swing under Secretary Nathansons guiding hand for the space of two weeks thereafter. The program book of. the first week calls for the disposition of three stakes; Monday The Garden City Handicap will be the central racing feature. It is a six furlongs sprint for three-year-olds and upward, with ,000 added, with such speedy ones as Burnie Bunton, Money Muss, Jack Raitlin, Wainamoinen, Sevoy, Death, Otis, Father Wentker, The Pride, Constellator, Maud Gonne, Toah, Harrow, Doublet, Federal, Mc-Chesney, Headwater, Kenilworth, Jiminez, Scorpio, Tayon, Ailyar, A. D. Gibson, Bessie Spahr, Ampere, Carl Kahler and Nellie Waddell among the 125 horses nominated. Obviously here is a chance for a huge field if the track should prove to be fast. Thursday will bring about the decision of the Youngster Stakes, a dash of five furlongs for two-year-olds, with ,500 adddd. Prominent in the list of ninety-nine nominations are the names of Sav-able, Mallory, High Chancellor, Early. Poor Boy, Captain Arnold, Watkins Overton, The Picket, Josette, Navasota, Collonade, Tom Cogan, Gold Boll, Stem Winder and Sidney C. Love. Saturday the Maywood Handicap for three-year-olds and upward will be run off. The distance is one mile and a hundred yards and ,500 is added. Argregor, Aladdin, Cruzados, Abe Frank, Corrigan, Favonius, Terra Firma, Haviland, Flying Torpedo, Jim Clark Lucien Appleby, St. Marcos, McChesney, Six Shooter, Belles Commoner, Wainamoinen, Otis, Dewey, Cambrian and Hunter Baine are in the list of seventy-eight entries. For the first week there are eighteen 00 purses, fourteen of 00. two of 00, and one of 00, providing for all ages and classes of horses, and guaranteeing good racing.
