Premus wore the leaders down in the run home and got up in the last stride. Charley Thompson ran to his best form, but tired in the stretch as if in need of a race. He will probably be dangerous from now on. Lady Kent tired when the pinch came. She was well ridden and had no mishaps. Khaki did not run to his workj showed no great speed and was never dangerous. Regan was driving to the limit all of the last furlong to stall off Judge Voorhees. He was off running with Pirate and had every advantage, but was tiring at the end and just managed to last long enough. Judge Voorhees closed a big gap in the stretch and was catching the leader at every stride. Pirate tired in the run home and Preston was of little help to him. Enue and First Mason finished strongly. He raced McWilliams to exhaustion in the first three-quarters and fought it out with Brief in the run home, hung on gamely at the end and just managed to last long enough. Brief was wearing him down and would have won in another stride, but Minder put up a weak finish. McWilliams tired badly and was doing his best to stall off The Way. Scratched 33955 Circus, 96. Himtine ran to his best form. He faltered at the sixteenth post, but came again at the end. Foneda tired in the last sixteenth. The Geezer showed improvement. Afghan broke down. LoririaVwaB hustled along frdm flag-fall and wasjdrfving hard in the last Lquarler. Filly Deck showed the most speed, but hung when called on. Optima made a wide turn into the homestretch and then came fast when straightened out. Our Sallie reared up at the post and fell twioe before the start.
