Limelight finished strongly as did also Irmas Choice. Ida V. made up ground in the last quarter. Huzzah was done for when a furlong from home. Rasselas ran nowhere noar to his best form. Hermencia was hold too far out of the race, Buchanan making his run too late. The gelding finished strongly and got up in time to nip Argregor on the post for third money. The latter tired fast when the pinch came. He has probably gone back some. Artenas race was too bad to be true. She was a badly beaten horse after running seven furlongs. Nickey D. tired badly when the pinch came and ran far below his best form. Marta Santa showed a keen turn of spoed for five furlongs. Tho latter was well spent when a sixteenth out. Alene Abbott showed early speed, as did Benckart. The latter runs bost on a muddy or soft track. Tho winner, entered for ,300, was run up to ,500 and bought by C. E. Durnell.
